But here at James Blond Ltd we would suggest to you that if you have some free time and are unsure of what to do that you do something completely different, if you have a smart phone download the application from Auckland City it’s free and located on this site are a number of tourist attractions that you probably have never heard of or never considered and then go and try one or two of them. Some of these are even free or entry by donation only.

Of course the middle of winter also means ski season on whilst we are still a couple of months away from that starting you might want to consider booking your trip in advance so that you have a 4wd ready to get you up the mountain road James Blond Ltd have a number of Honda CRV’s as rental cars and  their 4wd system will get you safe and sound to the mountain in the middle of winter

Sunday can be one of those days when we are either stting round twiddling our thumbs or flat out with rental cars going out the door and this Sunday is one of those days here at James Blond Ltd. When the day started we already had 17 rental car bookings and since opening we have been inundated with enquiry abd customers wandering in to collect rental cars and minivans.

When you run a business it’s nice to be able to predict things and what sort of day we are going to have so that i can organise to have sufficient staff to cover a busy day over a quiet day so that foreinstance just before a public holiday we always increase our staff to cover the increased demand for rental cars but a day like today when a large number of vehicles go out unexpedly can cause delays in us serving our customers as quickly as we would like so if you did experience a delay then we are sorry for that.

On a business front however it’s great to see us busy here at James Blond Ltd and we have great plans for the futire based on business growth over the last few years.

A promise some people will know from their wedding vows but also one that applies to small business for you are there when you are happy and well and when you are feeling ;lousy and sick it’s hard to take time out if you don’t have other staff members available to cover those who are unwell. Here at James Blond Ltd we have just been through a bout of flu that has effected all the staff and has at times caused a shortage of a people to run the business effectively. So if you have suffered when picking up your rental car from an undue delay over the last couple of days then I appologoise  and hope that now things are on the improve that that will be the only event of the year.

Here at James Blond Ltd we are mostly a family run business so it tends to be that if one family member is sick it runs through the rest of the family.

We will be launching a number of new rental car specials over the next couple of weeks to encourage things over winter as we have plenty of rental cars and it would be easier to rent them than store them.
