One of the things that all of us or at least a lot of us is jump in boots and all with out reading the instructions or listening to what is being said and for those of us on the other side of the conversation this can be incredibly frustrating when you know that the other person is just so eager to get going that they are only listening with half an ear instead of both.
Last night at 2 am we had someone book an airport pick up for their rental car at 7 am this morning and despite our website clearly displaying the fact that a minimum of 24 hours notice is required the person went ahead and booked the rental car anyway. Now when they arrive at Auckland they are no doubt going to be looking for a rental car that does not exist as we here at James Blond Ltd are based a 25 minute drive from the airport it will be impossible to meet the customers requirement.
The sad part about this whole episode is that the customer feels disappointed even though it’s them that did not read the clear instructions on our website and i feel frustrated that there is a rental car booking that i cannot help with customer with because by the time i have seen the booking the customer is already in the air on their way to Auckland.
